The 100,000 hot dogs purchased for Atlanta’s Week 3 game is 10-20 times the sales volume at Mercedes Benz Stadium is more than the total number of hot dogs (82,000) sold in the 2023 season. The Falcons are preparing for the promotion by adding 20 additional concession stands for the hot dogs, along with an outdoor kitchen with 12 ovens.
The Falcons began their season 1-1, with a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and a clutch last-minute win against the Philadelphia Eagles, where quarterback Kirk Cousins connected on a seven-yard pass to Drake London for a touchdown. Younghoe Koo’s field goal kick sealed the victory.
