CLEVELAND — Browns tight end David Njoku is inactive for Sunday’s home game against the Kansas City Chiefs because of a hamstring injury.

Njoku, who was listed as questionable after not practicing this week, leads Cleveland with five touchdown catches this season.

Jordan Akins, who has 24 receptions for 243 yards and one touchdown, is expected to start in place of Njoku.

Cleveland is also officially making a kicking change in Week 15, as Riley Patterson is active over incumbent Dustin Hopkins. Patterson was signed to the practice squad Tuesday, days after Hopkins missed two kicks in the Browns’ Week 14 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Hopkins has missed an NFL-high nine field goal attempts this season. Patterson kicked in three games for Cleveland late last season after Hopkins sustained a hamstring injury.
