Two days of the 2025 NBA play-in tournament are in the books, as wins by the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday helped them advance to play on Friday for a chance at the No. 8 seed in their respective conferences.
The Heat will play at Atlanta to face the Hawks at 7 p.m. ET, and that’s followed by the Mavericks heading to Memphis to play the Grizzlies at 9:30 p.m. ET. The season ends for the two teams that lose on Friday.
