ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills were without wide receiver Amari Cooper for their 30-27 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Cooper has been ruled out of the game with a wrist injury suffered in last week’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. He was limited in practice all week and has been wearing a wrap around his left hand.
“He’s working through it. We’ll see where it leads us. He’s a pro,” coach Sean McDermott said of Cooper’s potential availability on Friday.
Editor’s Picks
This was the first game Cooper has missed as a Bill. He has played in the past two games since being traded from the Cleveland Browns.
The Bills also were without starting cornerback Christian Benford, who is also dealing with a wrist injury. Kaiir Elam, the team’s 2022 first-round pick, is expected to start in his place.
